We are looking for experienced Gas Engineers to join us in covering our South Region (London and surrounding areas). In these roles, you will deliver planned and preventative maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work across commercial heating systems, supporting social housing providers and local authorities. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault diagnosis, and basic electrical fault-finding across commercial heating systems within social housing and local authority properties
  • Complete repairs and replacements on pumps, valves, radiators, and associated components, including power flushing where required
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with statutory compliance requirements, including issuing gas safety certificates and related documentation
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organised plant rooms, manage van stock effectively, and deliver a consistently high standard of service
  • Communicate professionally with residents, clients, and local authority representatives, providing updates on works and service delivery
  • Support site surveys, quotations, and engineer reports, and take part in the out-of-hours call-out rota for emergency repairs
  • Keep up to date with gas safety legislation, industry standards, and best practice

Essential:

  • Commercial Gas Engineer - Domestic and Commercial ACS qualifications including COCN1, CCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1/TPCP1A and CENWAT, plus current Gas Safe registration
  • Domestic Gas Engineer - Domestic ACS qualification including CCN1, CIGA1, TPCP1 and CENWAT, plus current Gas Safe registration
  • 3-5 years industry experience
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements for communal and commercial heating systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills when working with residents and clients
  • Ability to pass a DBS check and hold a full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience maintaining accurate job records and compliance documentation, with previous use of job management systems such as BigChange or Joblogic/Jobwatch
  • Additional technical qualifications or experience such as renewable energy systems, Unvented Hot Water, Water Regulations, Asbestos Awareness, or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
