As a Senior SEO Consultant at Brave Bison, you will take ownership of key SEO & GEO accounts—those with higher complexity, scale or strategic importance—and lead the delivery of impactful SEO & GEO strategies that drive commercial results and long‑term retention. You will be responsible not only for your own portfolio but also for the performance, development and delivery standards of your pod. You will lead on elements of Brave Bison’s SEO product vision—Expertise, Insight and Value—ensuring your pod understands how these principles shape high‑quality SEO delivery. You will coach your team to identify gaps in execution, develop their commercial understanding and elevate the standard of technical and strategic work. You will be a trusted partner for senior client stakeholders, bringing clarity, rigour and business‑case thinking to recommendations. You will collaborate across Brave Bison to support cross‑department initiatives and represent SEO in cross‑functional projects. You are driven by exceptional client performance, the development of your people, innovation in our product and processes, and the strategic delivery of SEO & GEO that drives measurable business results. Your leadership supports the department’s long‑term direction and strengthens Brave Bison’s position as a high‑performance consultancy.
Responsibilities
- Pod Leadership & Line Management: Line manage 1–3 SEO team members, owning their performance, development plans and progression cases. Conduct bi‑weekly 1:1s, provide ongoing feedback, coaching and support. QA deliverables from your pod, ensuring high standards and supporting consultants to reduce QA needs through strong execution. Identify training needs within your pod and escalate department‑level training opportunities to the Associate Director. Create an environment where your team feels supported, motivated and aligned to departmental and client goals.
- Client Performance & Ownership of Key Accounts: Own the SEO roadmap and delivery for complex, high‑prestige or strategically important accounts. Drive performance outcomes and hold accountability for retention, growth and client satisfaction across your pod’s portfolio. Lead conversations with senior client stakeholders, providing clarity, direction and commercial insight. Translate complex technical challenges into actionable business‑oriented recommendations that secure implementation. Champion an experimentation‑minded approach, using data and insight to inform strategy and prioritisation.
- Product Excellence: Leading Expertise, Insight, Value: Lead the execution of the product vision across your pod, coaching team members on delivering Expertise, Insight and Value. Identify product delivery gaps within your pod’s accounts and work with your Associate Director to strengthen execution. Support development and refinement of internal tools, frameworks and delivery processes.
- Innovation, Process & Department Contribution: Lead innovation initiatives within SEO, proposing improvements to process, product, tools or ways of working. Represent SEO in cross‑department projects, ensuring alignment between channels and integration of SEO requirements. Drive operational improvements by identifying inefficiencies and helping embed new workflows.
- New Business & Marketing: Lead the technical SEO workstream in selected new business pitches, including forecasting, strategic framing and technical scoping. Proactively identify marketing opportunities, thought leadership topics and external‑facing SEO content. Contribute to the SEO marketing roadmap with ideas, assets or specialist expertise.

Shown sustained innovation and improved product execution across your portfolio. Demonstrated excellence in cross‑department collaboration and strategic leadership.
