About your role
Working within the Digital team and reporting to the Head of Digital User Experience, you will be working within a highly experienced online gaming team which thrives off the fast-paced and competitive industry we work in. You’ll work collaboratively with several teams, both internal and external, to maintain and deliver the development backlog for Buzzbingo.com. There will be times when travel to Nottingham is required.
Where does your role fit in?
Buzzbingo.com is less than 6 months old and we have big ambitions for it to be the best online Bingo site in the industry. To make this happen we need someone to work closely with key stakeholders in the business to come up with a roadmap of ideas for how we can improve the site for our customers. Whilst working alongside the CMS Manager and external development teams, you will manage these ideas from conception through to implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, and external developers to come up with ideas for how we can improve the customer experience on Buzzbingo.com.
- Own the Buzzbingo.com roadmap and ensure all new items are briefed into JIRA and the UX team where required.
- Take a mobile-first approach to everything you do.
- Prioritise the items that will be picked up in each development Sprint and ensure all stakeholders are kept up-to-date on the progress of their items.
- Ensure new development items have supporting requirements and UX/UI designs ready for each Sprint Planning session.
- Liaise with the external development team and internal team to resolve any queries.
- Be the go-to person in the Digital Team for any added functionality or changes needed to the site.
- Ensure the customer experience on the site is aligned to the digital experience in Club.
- Always be trying to maximise online conversion based on usability testing, competitor analysis, insights, benchmarking and analytics.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Keep up to date on customer experience changes on competitor sites.
You’ll aim to achieve:
An ever-evolving website which constantly strives to improve the customer experience as well as providing the best online bingo and games experience.
Your knowledge and experience:
2 years Product Management/Owner experience, Roadmap and backlog planning and management, Working with internal and external development teams. Experience working with external teams based offshore would be a bonus, Basic technical understanding of CMS and analytics tools.
Your skills:
- Essential: Good organisational and planning skills, Good at presenting and explaining your opinion, The ability to balance multiple stakeholder requirements, Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, Able to interpret customer insights and turn these into requirements for improvements to the user experience, You’re able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet specific deadlines, You embrace change and remain calm under pressure, You have excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills and are happy receiving and giving support and advice, An understanding of Scrum and have ideally worked in an agile environment, You have an interest in online gaming.
