We’re revolutionising our industry by combining data, technology, and human insight. As we continue to scale our product suite, we are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our team. This role is a unique hybrid of strategic execution and people leadership. You will own critical product initiatives while directly managing and developing two Product Managers. You will act as a key partner to our Growth Director, translating high-level business bets into exceptional product execution and helping us raise the bar for product thinking across the entire company.

Overview

You will operate at the intersection of strategy and delivery. While the high-level roadmap direction is defined in partnership with the Growth Director, you are the architect of how that vision comes to life. Your impact will be measured not just by the products you ship, but by the growth of the team you lead and the efficiency of the processes you implement.

  • Strategic Execution: Taking complex bets and turning them into scalable, high-impact product realities.
  • Team Development: Coaching and line-managing two PMs to ensure they are delivering at their best and developing their careers.
  • Product Excellence: Raising the standard of discovery, scoping, and delivery across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Develop Talent: Provide direct line management, mentorship, and career development for two Product Managers. Foster a culture of high-quality product thinking, ensuring your reports are empowered to own their outcomes.
  • Drive Strategic Execution: Partner with the Growth Director to translate company-wide bets into actionable, high-impact product roadmaps. Own the delivery of major, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment between engineering, design, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Raise the Product Bar: Identify and implement improvements in our product processes to increase speed, clarity, and quality. Use your product judgement to guide complex trade-off decisions, balancing short-term delivery with long-term product health.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Act as a key liaison between the product team and company leadership, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and strategic insights. Lead through influence, ensuring that multiple squads are moving in the same direction towards our collective goals.

Success Looks Like

  • Team Growth: Your direct reports are thriving, delivering high-quality work, and growing in their roles.
  • Execution Velocity: You have built a "high-performance" engine where product bets are shipped efficiently and with minimal friction.
  • Strategic Alignment: You have successfully bridged the gap between executive vision and squad-level execution.
  • Operational Maturity: You have introduced repeatable frameworks that make our product team more effective than when you joined.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Product Leadership: Extensive product experience, with a track record of leading significant product areas and complex initiatives.
  • People Leadership: Demonstrable experience mentoring or managing Product Managers; you know how to get the best out of people.
  • Strategic Operator: You are comfortable working with Directors and Founders to define the "how" behind the "what."
  • Influential Communicator: You can build consensus across diverse teams and clearly articulate product strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Balanced Mindset: You are as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to debug a roadmap issue as you are coaching a team member on their long-term career goals.

Nice to have: Experience in high-growth start-up or scale-up environments. Experience working in a B2B SaaS or Marketplace business.

What’s in it for you

  • Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 PA
  • Benefits: Private Medical Cover, L&D Allowance, Wellbeing Allowance, Perks at Work.
  • Flexibility: Hybrid Working (2 days PW in the office - Monday & Thursday).
  • Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays.
  • Culture: Join a growing company at an exciting point in our journey. We place a big emphasis on hiring "lovely people"—they are the best thing about our team.
