- Operate heavy vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and supplies between various locations as required by business operations.
- Ensure goods are collected and delivered safely, accurately, and within scheduled timeframes.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo to ensure safe transportation and minimise the risk of damage.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical, maintenance, or safety issues.
- Maintain vehicle logbooks, delivery records, and other transport-related documentation.
- Follow road transport regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and company procedures at all times.
- Communicate with supervisors, customers, suppliers, and other personnel regarding delivery schedules and operational requirements.
- Monitor vehicle performance and arrange servicing or maintenance when required.
- Assist with the movement and handling of materials and equipment to support daily operational activities.
