Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategically arranging transport units for efficient cargo transfer
- Utilizing mechanical aids to transfer loads onto and off transport vehicles
- Adhering to safety protocols during the transfer of goods onto and off transportation units
- Conducting frequent inspections to confirm vehicle operational safety
- Calculating and managing load distribution to abide by weight restrictions and ensure even load dispersal
- Securing and covering items properly to minimize the risk of damage or loss
- Validating delivery paperwork, assessing the condition of shipments, and securing proof of deliveries
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or 1 year of experience in lieu of the qualification
- At least 3 years of experience
- Valid Australian White Card & Drivers Licence
