Get Up Studio
- A Content & Production Agency
- Start: Novemebr 2026
An entry-level opportunity to work on one of our key motorsports clients.
About Get Up
Get Up Studio is an independent Content & Production Agency working across strategy, production and social.
We're a small, experienced and hands-on team, working with some of the world's leading brands and rights holders to develop ideas, create content and connect with audiences.
We deliberately keep Get Up lean. You'll work directly with the founders of the business and be closely involved in the work itself: not buried beneath layers of agency hierarchy.
Our work ranges from social-first content and campaigns through to documentaries, branded films, content strategy and ongoing social support.
The role
We're looking for a Motorsports Community Manager to join Get Up Studio, helping us connect a key motorsports client with its fans throughout an exciting year.
This is a full-time, remote role with working hours focused on evenings and weekends, when the community is most active.
Out-of-hours coverage is a core part of the job, particularly around race weekends.
You'll be one of the voices fans hear from every day.
That comes with real responsibility.
Every reply, comment and interaction should feel right for the brand.
We're looking for someone who takes tone of voice seriously, cares about the smallest details and actively looks for opportunities to build a stronger community.
It's an ideal first step into motorsports and social media, with the opportunity to learn from seasoned motorsports producers and creators while contributing to work that fans see and engage with.
- What you'll be doing
- Community Management & Brand Voice
- Monitor comments, mentions and messages across the client's social channels, keeping close to what fans are saying.
- Respond promptly and thoughtfully, making sure every interaction reflects the brand's tone of voice.
- Proactively join relevant conversations, ask questions and create opportunities for fans to get involved.
- Check spelling, grammar, names and facts before posting, even when the conversation is moving quickly.
- Use good judgement about when to be playful, when to be straightforward and when a conversation needs a more considered response.
- Moderate conversations in line with agreed guidelines and help keep the community welcoming.
- Recognise sensitive issues, potential reputational risks or questions that need input, and escalate them to the right person.
- Spot recurring questions, fan feedback and emerging talking points, and share them with the wider team.
- Help turn everyday interactions into lasting connections between the brand and its audience.
- Race Weekends & Remote Working
- Prioritise evening and weekend coverage in line with the agreed schedule and motorsports calendar.
- Follow the action closely so community responses are timely, relevant and accurate.
- Stay connected with producers, creators and the wider team during busy periods.
- Keep clear handovers so colleagues know what's happening, what's been answered and what needs attention.
- Stay organised across multiple conversations and know which issues need attention first.
- Communicate clearly when you need guidance, context or support.
- Social Culture & Creative Input
- Keep up with social media's quirks, memes, trends and platform-specific nuances.
- Understand why a joke or format works, who it's for and whether it fits the brand.
- Bring relevant fan conversations, references and ideas to our producers and creators.
- Identify opportunities for reactive content and community-led ideas.
- Share what audiences respond to and help the team build on those insights.
- Get Up Studio
We're a small team, and the community's perspective matters to the work we make.
You'll work closely with experienced motorsports producers and creators, learning how ideas become content and helping them understand the conversations happening around it.
We're looking for someone who's curious, willing to ask questions and keen to contribute.
Who we're looking for
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career.
You don't need years of agency experience, but you do need a real passion for social media, excellent written communication and the judgement to represent a brand responsibly.
You'll need to be
- Meticulous: with excellent spelling and grammar and a habit of checking the details before hitting send.
- Thoughtful about tone: able to understand a brand's personality and apply it consistently across different situations.
- Socially fluent: enthusiastic about internet culture, memes and the small nuances that make each platform different.
- Proactive: keen to find conversations and opportunities, as well as respond to the ones already happening.
- A clear communicator: comfortable writing for fans and keeping colleagues informed.
- Curious about motorsports: interested in the racing, the people and the communities around it.
- Calm under pressure: able to stay considered and accurate during a busy race weekend.
- Reliable and organised: comfortable working remotely and taking responsibility for agreed evening and weekend coverage.
- Collaborative and open to feedback: eager to learn from experienced people and improve your work.
A personal account, fan page, university society or community you've helped build can be just as useful a way to show us your instincts as previous paid experience.
How we work
Get Up is a small, hands-on agency where you'll work closely with the people making the content.
You'll have meaningful responsibility from the start, alongside experienced people to learn from.
The role is remote and full time. Evenings and weekends are the priority within your working schedule, with coverage planned around the client's needs and the racing calendar.
There will be busy race weekends, fast-moving conversations and moments that need a careful response.
Attention to detail and sound judgement matter just as much when the pace picks up.
You'll have the chance to develop your community management skills, learn from seasoned motorsports producers and creators, and play a vital part in how fans experience the brand.
Full time | Remote | Evenings and weekends prioritised
This is a non-travelling role, though we'd look to get you to a race or two over the season where possible. Race attendance isn't guaranteed.
