Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Russian/Ukrainian speaker to join their office team. Your attitude, work ethic, and communication skills are much more important than your previous experience.

Hours: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week, office based (no remote work)

Times: Monday to Friday, 4-5 hours per day, between 9am and 5:30pm

Start date: February - March 2026, TBC

Salary: £13.85 per hour, rising to £14.80 per hour from April 2026

Probation: 6-month probation period

Contract: Permanent employment, 28 days holiday pay pro-rata

Benefits: Pension, health insurance, health cash plan

They have a friendly, multi-lingual office team from various Eastern European countries based in the Woolwich Arsenal office. Our client is a company with a great, caring and fun environment. You can expect complimentary fruit, sweets, and drinks, as well as regular events. You will need to communicate in Russian in the office. You will report to the HR Manager.

Duties and responsibilities (subject to change):

  • Cleaner recruitment
  • Identifying best ways to advertise cleaning vacancies
  • Placing ads, posts in portals & social media
  • Initial screening and qualifying candidates over phone, email & message apps
  • Checking documents and eligibility to work in the UK
  • Setting up interviews with candidates
  • Raising customer invoices
  • Onboarding new candidates & explaining how their portal works
  • Organising 1-2-1 or group training & inductions
  • Updating company systems
  • Covering HR Manager when she is not available
  • Carrying out research as required by the management

What they look for:

  • You would need to be able to communicate at ease by phone/email/SMS in both English and Russian and preferably Ukrainian.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Russian and Ukrainian (both written and spoken)
  • Good telephone manner
  • IT literate (internet, email and social media)
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Good typing speed in English, min 30wpm
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual who is able to use their own initiative
  • Fast learner
  • Any cleaning experience or experience interacting with cleaners or housekeepers is useful
  • Would suit someone living in South East London or East London
