The predicted salary is between 18000 - 24000 £ per year.

Nursery opening hours are 7:30am - 6:00pm and staff will be needed to work these hours on a pro-rata basis to ensure they are covered.

Our client is an established privately owned nursery which came under the current owner in June 2023. They put the child at the centre of everything they do as they believe in a child-centred approach. They understand that each child is unique, resilient and capable and plan their environment around supporting them through their interests to develop to their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the early years.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behaviour, and developmental milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a day care, preschool, or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
