Our client provides safe, supportive housing for vulnerable adults — and they are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join their team in the Erdington area. Position: Support Worker for Vulnerable Adults - £14 per hour - Full time - Location: Erdington (various properties)
Please note: This is NOT a personal care role.
What You’ll Do
- Provide person-centred support to vulnerable adults in their daily lives.
- Offer guidance with everyday challenges - from accessing benefits and finding permanent accommodation, to budgeting and developing life skills.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social inclusion.
- Work closely with colleagues, families, and external services to ensure holistic support.
- Maintain accurate client records and document support sessions.
What They’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a support worker or related role.
- Own car and willingness to travel locally.
- Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping vulnerable adults.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident using Word and Excel.
