Management Accountant / Bookkeeper
Permanent, part time (ideally 3 days per week, 9am – 5pm)
£45,000 per annum FTE (pro rata to 3 days)

Our client is an Electrical Contractor, providing power and equipment to the Events and Entertainment Industries. Their business has grown over the past two years, which in turn has led them to expand their accounts team. They have a team of 15 employees in house, with two people also supporting the administration and accounting part time.
Roles and responsibilities would initially include:
- Processing and reviewing purchase and sales invoices using Procim and SAGE 50
- Cashflow forecast
- Credit control
- Reconciliation of credit card statements and liaise with administrator for general expenses
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Month end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing accounting – preparation of monthly accounts up to management accounts
- Prepare P&L comparisons/analysis
- Prepare consolidated P&L and BS
- Financial reporting through Procim and SAGE reports
- Support with P&L Forecasts
Skills and experience:
- At least 4 year’s bookkeeping experience using SAGE
- AAT qualified
- Ability to build strong client/supplier relationships
- Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud software
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Ability to adapt and learn Procim, their project software linked to SAGE 50
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Must have good attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads
In return our client is offering a salary of £45,000 per annum (pro-rata to 3 days), with 25 days holiday (15 days pro-rata) plus bank holidays and other benefits including an annual bonus.
This is an office-based role with no public transport available, so you must have your own transport.
