The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
An experienced and reliable Gardener is needed to join the team in maintaining private gardens and several acres of farmland on a family estate in Berkshire. This is a full-time position, working 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary. There is the option to live on site within the estate for the right candidate.
You will take pride in your work and enjoy working as a team:
- Carry out general gardening duties, including planting, pruning and hedge cutting.
- Maintain and manage lawns to a high standard with mowing, edging, feeding, aeration and seasonal treatments.
- Undertake chainsaw work where required, including tree and branch management.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant health and safety requirements.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in lawn management and general gardening.
- Chainsaw trained and certified ideally chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting, felling and processing trees up to 380mm.
- Confident working independently with a proactive approach.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing excellent results.
