Our client is looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join their talented team of craftsmen and women. They are an established business specialising in bespoke furniture design and manufacturing. Their purpose-built workshop is based in SW London/Surrey, where they have in-house design, production and manufacturing teams producing high-end, free standing and fitted bespoke furniture.
Job Description:
- Making bespoke fitted and free-standing furniture to a high standard.
- Assembling joinery items.
- Installing high-end, bespoke fitted furniture.
- Preparing and finishing furniture products for spraying.
- Working to agreed deadlines.
- Supporting Company Directors and providing general support where required across all departments.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working as a Cabinet Maker / Joiner or Furniture Maker producing bespoke furniture.
- Carpentry and joinery skills.
- Joinery fitting experience would be an advantage.
- Experience using veneer and laminate.
- Ability to read and interpret technical / CAD drawings and furniture designs.
- Strong communication skills.
- An eye for quality, detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Hold a full UK driving license would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Must be well organised.
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
Salary dependent on experience. This is a full-time position; Flexible hours may be possible. Immediate start.
