Our client is an Established, Family Run, Architectural Services Business who work in the domestic and commercial markets.
They are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and results-oriented Architectural Designer who wants to progress their career. This role has an opportunity to grow into a senior, decision maker position and to ultimately become a director in the business.
This is an important role, and you will be part of a growing, successful team who are focused on getting the business to the next level.
Salary & Benefits Package
- 25K to 35K subject to experience
- 37.5 hour week

Key Requirements of the role
Responsibilities
- Site Surveys and Client Briefings
- Drafting 2D and 3D design packages for planning submission
- Coordinating with external design team members
- Developing and Coordinating Building Regulation packages
- Attending network events to represent the company
- Engaging with new enquiries and discussing the clients proposed project
- Independent time management
- Opening and closing-up of the office
- Assisting the director with day-to-day task
Results Expected in this role
- Become a qualified Architect
- Manage / run your own projects
- Gained planning permission for projects
- Gained building control approval for projects
- Grow network

- Expert at AutoCAD
- Expert at Sketch up

- Knowledge of Building Regulation / construction information

Experience Required
- Part 1 qualified
- At least 4 years’ work experience in the residential sector
- Can hold a conversation with 3rd parties’ consultants
- Has developed planning application and Building Regulation package drawings
- Has worked on RIBA Work stage 0 – to – 4
- Worked on Residential projects
