Our client is pleased to announce their new Railway Engineering and Track Maintenance Apprenticeship in Abercynon.

  • To be considered for this exciting and rewarding opportunity, candidates must not:
  • Must not hold any rail-related qualifications.
  • Must not hold an engineering qualification at level 3 or above.
  • Must not be working towards any other funded apprenticeship programme.

Candidates must

  • Have a basic level of English and Mathematics - As this is a level 2 framework, Level 1 English and Mathematics will be required.
  • Be physically and medically fit.
  • Be free of any controlled substances.
  • Be willing to travel.
  • Be living in Wales.
  • Be willing to undertake manual labour in all weather conditions.
  • Be willing to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends (nationwide) in a safety critical environment and as part of a wider team .
