Key Purpose of Role
The key purpose of this role is to undertake a lead role in booking of road space in the Scottish Roadwork Register (SRWR) utilising the Aurora software package ensuring works are booked accurately and in compliance with required notification periods. This will also include continual monitoring and updating of the system ensuring works are started and closed within the prescribed deadlines. In addition, you will also provide a support function to the other HUB Operators in the preparation and submission of permits.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate SRWR bookings to operational delivery team and Project Managers.
- Takes responsibility for day-to-day input and management of the SRWR.
- Assists overall operation of the HUB by providing support function in preparation of permits.

The Road Space Coordinator role is to communicate effectively with the operational delivery team to ensure works are planned and undertaken in an organised manner ensuring legal compliance and maximum operational delivery.

As a Road Space Coordinator, you will oversee day-to-day operation of SRWR, allowing operations team to undertake and maximise performance that exceeds company standards for performance and productivity. Your key responsibilities include accurate record keeping and strong communication skills.
