Our client is seeking a dedicated Junior Maintenance Technician / Junior Handyman / Property Operations Assistant to join their estate agency.

The Role
This is a great first step into the world of Property and Property Management. You will get a variety of experiences and plenty of opportunity for progression.
- Junior Handyman Duties
- Carry out basic hands‑on tasks including screwing in fixtures and fittings, installing curtain rails, blinds, shelves, and wall‑mounted items.
- Complete painting and decorating touch‑ups to maintain property standards.
- Assemble flat‑pack furniture, tighten fittings, adjust doors, and assist with general upkeep tasks.
- Support furniture moving, room setup changes, and property reconfiguration as required.
- Access Coordination & Guest Preparation
- Coordinate contractor access, assist with maintenance scheduling, manage key handovers, and prepare properties for incoming guests or tenants.
- Restock essentials and ensure properties are tidy, functional, and ready for occupancy.
- Property Presentation and Marketing Support
- Prepare properties to a high visual standard for viewings and guest arrivals.
- Capture quality photos and videos for listings and promotional use, ensuring properties are clean, organised, and well‑presented.
- Issue Reporting and Communication
- Log maintenance issues and updates in the CRM system.
- Maintain clear communication with the Property Manager regarding property status, completed tasks, and any concerns requiring further attention.
- Administrative and Operational Support
- Assist with utility readings, document organisation, and maintaining accurate tenant and property records to support smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Requirements
- Experience in roles such as Maintenance Technician, Handyman, Inventory Clerk, Property Manager, Lettings Assistant, or similar positions is beneficial, but not required.
- Strong time management and ability to work independently across multiple locations.
- Excellent written communication and keen attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner when interacting with tenants, contractors, and team members.
- Valid UK moped (CBT) licence and confident riding experience ideally in a work‑related context (e. g., delivery or courier).
Important: This role requires confident and legal moped driving within London.
