Salary: £35,000 - £44,000 per annum + Overtime (DOE)

About the Role

This role focuses on the installation, modification, remedial works, and system additions or servicing across a range of fire and security systems on small to medium sized projects. You'll be joining an established Fire & Security Small Works or Service Engineer team of engineers, with plans to expand as the department continues to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for long term career development within a business that invests heavily in training, technology and employee progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, modify and upgrade or service fire and security systems across commercial and high security environments.
  • Deliver small to medium sized installation projects to a high standard.
  • Complete remedial works, system additions, servicing and customer requested modifications.
  • Carry out basic commissioning and testing of installed systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and company procedures.
  • Accurately complete job documentation and reports using company systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge experience of fire & security systems
  • 5+ years' experience within the fire and security industry.
  • Proven installation or servicing experience across multiple disciplines.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
