Role and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of manufacturer brands
- Diagnosing and reporting faults using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-generated test plans
- Following workshop manuals and technical procedures precisely on every repair
- Completing detailed technical write-ups electronically to support warranty claims
- Liaising with manufacturer technical support to report issues and gain warranty approval
- Using integrated camera systems to document faults and report warranty issues to customers
Skills and Experience:
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 qualified, or equivalent, with hands-on experience
- Proven experience within a main dealer or franchised workshop environment
- MOT tester qualification advantageous but not essential
- Good level of IT skills, confident using online systems and diagnostic software
- A proactive approach to learning, keen to develop and grow within the role
