We are looking for an experienced Door Entry & Access Control Service Engineer to join a permanent, full-time team working across social housing and commercial environments.
You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of access control and door entry systems, diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard.
The role offers plenty of variety and would suit an engineer who enjoys solving technical issues and delivering a reliable service to customers.

- Door Entry & Access Control Service Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on door entry and access control systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring systems remain safe and operational.
- Manage daily workloads effectively, including accurate job logging, timesheets and service documentation.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Provide a professional, flexible and customer-focused service across a range of sites.
- Participate in overtime and an out-of-hours on-call rota when required.

- Proven hands-on experience with door entry and access control systems.
- Experience across installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
- Strong technical ability with excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience within social housing, commercial environments or other life safety/security disciplines would be advantageous.
