Skip Driver Class 2 (HGV2/LGV2) – Temp to Perm – Southampton/Romsey
- 12 weeks temp to perm
- Location: Romsey & Southampton available
- Pay Rate: £16.50+ per hour – Paid Weekly
- Perm rate: £25,000 daily and weekly bonuses
- Overtime available
- Immediate Start Available
- Minimum 1 years of experience required
- Friendly 24/7 Support Service
- Flexible Payment Options: Ltd / PAYE / Umbrella until perm
- Hours of Work: 6.45am- Finish

The Job – Skip Driver Class 2 (HGV2/LGV2)
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver and collect skips from various locations.
- Ensure correct loading and unloading of skips, following all safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections, including customer signatures and any relevant documentation.
- Perform daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries and collections.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring the safe transport of materials.
Skills and Experience Required – Skip Driver Class 2 (HGV2/LGV2)
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence with a clean driving record (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Experience in skip or waste management driving
- Ability to operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently, including reversing and manoeuvring in tight spaces
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
- Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
