Our client is an independently owned business who provides installation, repair, and maintenance services for a wide range of industrial and commercial door systems. The company has experienced significant growth over the last few years and is now seeking the right individual to support and drive the next phase of their development. You will take ownership of sales strategy, planning and execution, and act as a key figure in helping the business meet and exceed its commercial objectives.
Role & Responsibilities:- Plan and implement effective sales campaigns
- Generate leads and engage with prospective clients through cold calling and meetings
- Research and develop new business opportunities, including markets, customers, and partnerships
- Foster strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Present sales forecasts and strategic insights to senior leadership
- Collaborate with internal departments including Finance, Fabrication and Installations
- Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the business
- Help shape and refine the company’s sales and marketing strategy
- Drive improvements across the business to enhance overall performance
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in a similar industry
- Tenacity, resilience, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and a commercial mindset
- The ability to multitask and manage projects from end to end
- Strong IT and analytical skills
- A full, clean UK driving licence or equivalent
