As demand across their SE England territory continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Boiler Engineer to join their operations team, installing, servicing and maintaining temporary heating and cooling equipment to the highest safety and performance standards.
Boiler Service Engineer Role and
Responsibilities
- Install and commission temporary heating and cooling systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Service heating and cooling systems ahead of delivery, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Communicate clearly with clients throughout, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, safety inspections and customer interactions, preparing reports as required.
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety regulations, codes of practice and industry standards.
- Keep tools and equipment in proper working order, promptly reporting any maintenance or replacement needs.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.
- Stay current with industry advancements and best practice relating to gas systems and appliances. Boiler Service Engineer Skills and Experience:
- Essential qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A, ICAE1.
- Desirable: 18th Edition, OFTEC qualifications, F-Gas qualifications.
- Desirable: previous chiller experience.
- Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining commercial heating and cooling plant.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- A safety-first mindset, with a clear understanding of relevant codes of practice.
- Comfortable working independently in the field and as part of a wider operations team.
- Full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel across the SE England region.
