Are you an engineer with experience in fire & security looking to take the next step into project management?

We're recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee small works projects from initial site survey through to completion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who wants to develop their project management career within a supportive team that offers ongoing training and clear progression.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing projects typically valued between £600 and £15,000, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Project Manager Key responsibilities include

  • Carrying out site surveys and assessing customer requirements
  • Preparing accurate quotations for small works
  • Managing projects from quotation through to completion
  • Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors
  • Building strong customer relationships and attending site meetings
  • Identifying additional works and maintaining project documentation
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance throughout each project

About You

As a Project Manager, you'll ideally have

  • Experience within fire & security services
  • Knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control or intruder alarm systems
  • Experience carrying out site surveys
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence

Previous experience preparing quotations or managing small works projects would be beneficial but isn't essential.
