Are you an engineer with experience in fire & security looking to take the next step into project management?
We're recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee small works projects from initial site survey through to completion.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who wants to develop their project management career within a supportive team that offers ongoing training and clear progression.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing projects typically valued between £600 and £15,000, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Project Manager Key responsibilities include
- Carrying out site surveys and assessing customer requirements
- Preparing accurate quotations for small works
- Managing projects from quotation through to completion
- Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors
- Building strong customer relationships and attending site meetings
- Identifying additional works and maintaining project documentation
- Ensuring health & safety compliance throughout each project
About You
As a Project Manager, you'll ideally have
- Experience within fire & security services
- Knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control or intruder alarm systems
- Experience carrying out site surveys
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence
Previous experience preparing quotations or managing small works projects would be beneficial but isn't essential.
