We're looking for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join a well established company based in Northamptonshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable business covering mainly commercial installations across Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire.
Security Systems Engineer Role & Responsibilities
As a Security Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for
- Installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning of electronic security systems.
- Reactive maintenance and repairs on customer sites.
- Working with Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
- Covering mainly Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire, with occasional travel further afield when required.
- Participating in a rotational on-call schedule, with minimal call outs (most issues are resolved remotely).
- Approximately 80% of your work will be commercial, with the remaining 20% in domestic/residential properties.
Security Systems Engineer Skills and Experience Required
- Experience installing and servicing Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
- Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A reliable, customer-focused engineer who enjoys working independently.
