The predicted salary is between 28000 - 37000 £ per year.

Covering the North West of England (Manchester, Lancashire & Merseyside).

£28,000 - £37,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Full-Time, Permanent.

Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours per week.

Additional travel time paid at standard hourly rate.

1 week in 7 standby rota. £200 standby allowance per week.

Double-time, door to door payment for all call outs while on standby.

Company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone.

Company pension scheme and private medical insurance following successful completion of probation. Option to add partner and/or children at additional cost.

20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Additional holiday entitlement for each completed year of service (up to 25 days annual leave).

About the Role:

Our client specialise in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire and security systems, delivering high quality solutions and exceptional customer service to a diverse range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join the team covering Manchester and the wider North West region.

As a Fire & Security Installation Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, small works and system upgrades across a range of fire and security systems. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will deliver projects to a high standard while maintaining excellent customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to join a growing company where their contribution will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems.
  • Carry out small works, system upgrades and remedial installations.
  • Basic commissioning and testing of installed systems.
  • Complete all job documentation accurately and professionally.
  • Provide excellent customer service on-site.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the Fire & Security industry.
  • Experience installing a range of fire and security systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong problem solving and fault finding skills.
  • Professional and customer focused approach.
  • Experience across multiple system manufacturers.
  • ECS, CSCS, FIA or manufacturer accreditations.
