Security Service Engineer - Door Entry, Access Control & CCTV- South East London- £35,000 - £42,000 Basic Salary + On-Call Allowance + Overtime

  • £35,000 - £42,000 basic salary (depending on experience)

  • £150 standby payment per on call week
  • Door to door pay for out of hours call outs

Role Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join a well-established fire and security company covering South East London.

This is a service, fault finding and maintenance role, with no installation work involved.

The successful engineer will primarily work on door entry, access control and CCTV systems.

  • Service, maintain and fault find on door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently to minimise system downtime.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits.
  • Complete service reports and paperwork accurately.
  • Identify remedial works and report findings where required.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on site.
  • Participate in a 1 in 7 on-call rota
  • Security Service Engineer Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining door entry, access control and CCTV systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Competent working across a wide range of security systems.
  • Previous experience within a service and maintenance role (not installation).
  • Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
