Our client is a reputable business within the Fire & Security industry, currently looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

About You

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in relationship management and service/project selling within the fire and security industry. Your expertise in developing new and existing client relationships enables you to build your sales pipeline effectively and achieve annual targets exceeding £500,000. You are self-motivated, organised, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences in line with company values.

Package Overview

  • Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
  • OTE of £75,000
  • Company Car / Car Allowance
  • Location: Hybrid - Midlands
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing to 35 days within a timeframe)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research and analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work with the Group Sales Director to define target markets.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to explain services and address client concerns.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with new business ventures.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Complete site surveys to design fire and security systems using our SaaS management system.
  • Present proposals and manage the pipeline by following up on quotations and negotiating opportunities.

Key Account experience in Fire & Security Installations Sector.

  • Proven track record in market research and analysis, sales, and design.
  • Experience in design and quotations.
  • Knowledge in product and service development.
  • Strong client acquisition and relationship management skills.
  • High levels of self-motivation, exceptional organisational skills, and effective communication.
