Security Systems Engineer- Kent- £35,000 - £50,000 Basic

Security Systems Engineer - Package Overview:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • £35,000 - £50,000 basic salary (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Generous standby and overtime rates (1.5x)
  • Travel paid
  • Fully kitted out Custom Transit Van, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop, uniform and specialist tools all provided
  • 8 hour working days plus 1 hour paid lunch
  • Minimal on-call rota
  • Monday to Friday - No weekend work required (optional)
  • Immediate start available

You’ll be joining a close knit, professional team that values quality and continuous improvement, with most of the work based locally in Kent.

Security Systems Engineer - Role and Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, service, maintain and repair a wide variety of security systems
  • Work with technologies including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Automatic Gates, and ANPR systems
  • Operate across various environments including high-end residential, animal parks, commercial premises, and MOD sites
  • Primarily cover the Kent region with occasional travel outside of this area
  • Provide expert technical support and high-level customer service
  • Accurately maintain documentation and reports for all works undertaken

Security Systems Engineer - Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control, Alarms, and Gate systems
  • Previous experience in installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs of security systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards and health and safety regulations
  • Professional, methodical approach and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
  • Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent required
