We are recruiting for an experienced Security Service Engineer to join a growing specialist security and technology business. The role is primarily servicing commercial premises, within the London and Home Counties areas and occasional longer trips throughout the UK.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a range of electronic security and associated systems, including:
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Intercoms
- Gates & barriers
- AV & PA systems
- Associated security and technology systems
You’ll work across a variety of customer sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and ensuring systems are operating correctly. Experience is required, but you won’t be expected to know every product or manufacturer. We are looking for someone with the technical ability, initiative and curiosity to learn new systems, with training provided where required.

Package
- £25,000–£35,000 salary, depending on experience
- Bonus scheme
- Fuel and fares paid
- Travel paid after the first 30 minutes each way
- Additional payment for weekend/out-of-hours work
- On-the-job training and development
- Primarily local travel with occasional UK-wide projects
There is currently very little out-of-hours work. Where weekend work is required, it is offered to engineers willing to take it on and is paid additionally.
Security Requirements
Due to the nature of the work, honesty, integrity and reliability are essential. You must be able to successfully obtain BS7858 security screening and Enhanced DBS clearance.
