Role Overview
We are recruiting for two experienced Industrial Door Engineers to join a well established and growing business covering Scotland. This is a field based role involving the installation, service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial door systems. You'll be working across commercial and industrial customer sites, delivering high quality workmanship and excellent customer service whilst representing a respected independent company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Install, service and repair industrial door systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Fault find and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Work on roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors and steel doors.
- Complete digital job sheets and service documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and office staff.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Work independently whilst supporting the wider engineering team.
- Participate in a structured on-call rota.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience installing, servicing and repairing industrial door systems.
- Experience working on roller shutters, sectional doors, high speed doors and steel doors.
- Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
- Experience working with a variety of industrial door manufacturers.
- IPAF and PASMA certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- DHF qualifications and/or a CSCS Card would be advantageous.
