The Job- General Haulage HGV Class 1 (LGV1, Cat C+E)
- Operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles for general haulage across the UK.
- Ensure all paperwork and electronic records are accurately completed and up to date.
- Maintain accurate records of breaks and working hours in line with Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
- Comply with all agency and client policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Take full responsibility for the quality of work carried out, ensuring professionalism at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers, clients, and operations teams to ensure smooth deliveries and collections.
- Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and within required timeframes.
Skills and Experience Required- General Haulage HGV Class 1 (LGV1, Cat C+E)
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Must hold a DP World Certificate / Card
- Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
- Must not have more than 6 points on the licence
- Must have at least 2 years of experience of HGV1 driving
- Must have a good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
