We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced fire and security engineer to join a well established and forward-thinking organisation.

This company is a respected leader in the fire and security industry with decades of proven experience providing high quality safety solutions across the UK.

Fire and Security Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

  • Installing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and other related security systems.

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system faults, performing repairs and system upgrades as needed.

  • Providing clear, concise documentation of work completed, including service reports and system logs.

  • Offering professional customer service and providing guidance to clients on the use and upkeep of installed systems.

  • Adhering to health and safety protocols, as well as maintaining company vehicle and equipment to the highest standards.

  • Participating in on-call and emergency response as required.

  • Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer or a similar role within the industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control solutions, and associated security technologies.

  • Relevant certifications and qualifications, such as FIA (Fire Industry Association) or equivalent.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

  • Valid UK driver’s licence or equivalent.
