Role and Responsibilities:
  • Install, service and maintain fire alarm systems to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant with regulations.
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring fast and effective resolution of issues.
  • Upgrade and modify systems to meet client needs and comply with current standards.
  • Ensure compliance with British Standards, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by liaising with clients, addressing queries, and delivering expert advice.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, maintenance logs, and installation certificates.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and trades to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Stay up to date with the latest fire alarm technology and industry standards through continuous training.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
  • Proven experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and fire safety regulations.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and system specifications.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
