We are currently looking for a Senior Fire and Security Engineer to join a trusted provider of integrated fire, security, and electrical solutions. You will play a key role in supporting the team of engineers, ensuring adherence to British Standards and NSI Codes of Practice, and upholding the exceptional service they provide to their clients.

Responsibilities & Duties:- Oversee field technicians and ensure the highest standards of workmanship on all installations, maintenance, and system audits.
- Provide technical solutions and resolve issues across a range of systems (intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire alarms).
- Carry out audits in line with NSI Codes of Practice and health & safety regulations.
- Act as the point of contact with customers and manufacturers.
- Provide guidance and support to field technicians.
- Support the technical helpdesk manager and assist with technical escalations.
- Assist with the preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Offer emergency callout cover (not on the official rota).
- Extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience with fire and security systems (intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, fire alarms).
- Strong understanding of IP and networking.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently with solid experience in creating technical reports and documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ideally 8+ years’ experience in the fire and security industry (preferred but not essential).
- Experience in a supervisory or senior technician role (advantageous).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to pass security screening.
