Company Overview: Our client is a well-established and growing specialist within the electronic security and integrated systems sector. Delivering high-profile projects across landmark commercial developments, they work closely with major contractors and end users to provide advanced access control, CCTV and integrated building security solutions. Due to continued project growth, they are now looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of security systems packages across large-scale commercial construction projects, primarily within London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong construction background to move into a specialist sector working on prestigious office and commercial developments. The role offers a strong mix of site involvement, stakeholder management and home-based flexibility.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage electronic security systems projects from pre-construction through to fit-out and final handover
- Oversee delivery across large commercial office blocks and landmark developments
- Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders on-site
- Work closely with Tier 1 contractors, consultants, M&E teams and clients
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Attend site meetings and manage project programmes and reporting
- Coordinate commissioning activities and final integration of systems
- Manage commercial aspects including variations, project risks and progress tracking
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and construction site procedures
- Support strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from groundworks through to fit-out
- Strong background within office developments, commercial towers, flagship buildings or major new-build environments
- Experience working on-site within large construction projects is essential
- Previous exposure to electronic security systems, access control, CCTV or integrated systems would be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and stakeholder coordination
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced, high-profile construction environments
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Comfortable attending London sites a minimum of 3 days per week
- Full UK driving licence
