We are recruiting for an established and growing business within the fire and security sector, looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the South.

This is a key role within the business, focused on developing new revenue streams, building long-term customer relationships and securing high-value installation and recurring service contracts.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will take ownership of your territory and manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities through to contract mobilisation.

Drive new business: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and proposals through to negotiation and contract mobilisation.

  • Promote installation projects, service and maintenance contracts, while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, track performance and ensure opportunities are proactively progressed through to close.
  • Build long-term relationships: Develop existing accounts, maximise networking opportunities and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Fire & security experience: Proven experience selling within the sector, with knowledge of both installation and ongoing service/maintenance contracts.

  • New business track record: A strong history of identifying, winning and converting new business into high-value, recurring revenue.
  • Commercial sales skills: Confident managing the full sales cycle, with strong negotiation, presentation and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent account management and networking skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships across public and private sector customers.
  • Hybrid working with a 9/10-day working fortnight.
  • 25 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays, increasing with length of service.
