Repairs Engineer (Covering North/North West) – £30,000–£36,000 * £30,000–£36,000 (negotiable on experience) * 21 days holiday plus bank holidays * Company van and fuel card provided * Full-time, permanent position * Career development opportunities Repairs Engineer Overview: The role will focus predominantly on reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repair work across a range of fire, security and electrical systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, warden call, access control and door entry systems. Repairs Engineer Role & Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: * Attending reactive maintenance callouts and identifying faults across a range of systems. * Repairing and maintaining fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. * Working on CCTV, warden call, security, access control and door entry systems. * Carrying out fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify effective solutions. * Completing service reports, maintenance documentation and relevant records. * Identifying additional faults and reporting any remedial works required. * Travelling between sites as required. Repairs Engineer Skills & Experience Required: The successful candidate will need to demonstrate: * Previous experience in a repairs, service or maintenance engineering role. * Experience working with fire alarms, emergency lighting, CCTV, warden call, security, access control or door entry systems. * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * The ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites. Experience with aerial systems and automation would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates do not need to be fully multi-skilled across every system.
