Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a company that values its engineers, invests in their development and offers flexibility around the type of work you do? We’re looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to join an established and growing team covering Plymouth and Cornwall. This is a varied role working across Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems, with the flexibility to focus on either installation or service depending on your experience and what you enjoy most.
The Role
- Installation of fire and security systems
- Servicing and preventative maintenance
- Fault-finding and reactive repairs
- Testing and commissioning
- Diagnosing system faults and carrying out repairs
- Completing relevant service documentation
- Working professionally with customers and clients
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of systems, including:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Intruder Alarms
If you enjoy installation and commissioning, there is the opportunity to focus on new installations. Alternatively, if your strengths lie in servicing, maintenance and fault-finding, the position can be more service-focused. The priority is finding the right engineer and putting them into a role where they can perform at their best.

We're looking for someone with experience within the fire and security industry, with knowledge of some or ideally several of the following:
- Fire alarms
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV
- Access control
- Installation
- Servicing
- Fault-finding
- Maintenance
