AV Multi-Room & Home Automation Engineer – London – £40,000 – £50,000 Basic Salary Per Annum\\n\\nAV Multi-Room & Home Automation Engineer – Package Overview:\\n\\n * £40,000 – £50,000 basic (negotiable, depending on experience)\\n\\n * London (in and around the M25)\\n\\n * Full-Time, Permanent\\n\\n * Company Vehicle, Pension, Laptop, Phone\\n\\n * Overtime available paid at time and a half,\\n\\n * Team building events & comprehensive training provided\\n\\nAV Multi-Room & Home Automation Engineer Company Overview:\\n\\nWe are currently seeking an experienced and motivated AV Multi-Room Engineer / Home Automation Engineer to join a fast growing and highly respected AV integration company, specialising in high end residential and commercial projects across London.\\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking business that delivers premium solutions in Audio Visual, Home Cinema, Multi-Room AV, and Home Automation systems for prestigious developments and luxury properties.\\n\\nAV Multi-Room & Home Automation Engineer Role and Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Carry out the installation, configuration, and commissioning of AV (Audio Visual) and Home Automation systems\\n\\n * Install and set up equipment such as TVs, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and smart home devices\\n\\n * Build and wire AV racks to a high professional standard, including labelling and cable management\\n\\n * Work with and program Control4, Legrand Arteor & Vantage (experience essential for this position)\\n\\n * Interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and installation plans\\n\\n * Perform fault-finding and diagnostics to resolve technical issues on-site\\n\\n * Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and end clients\\n\\n * Ensure all work meets company quality standards and is delivered on time\\n\\n * Adhere to site health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment\\n\\n * Travel to various sites across London (in and around the M25)\\n\\nAV Multi-Room & Home Automation Engineer Skills and Experience:\\n\\n * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the AV & Home Automation industry\\n\\n * Proven hands-on experience with Control4 systems (essential)\\n\\n * Strong understanding of multi-room AV, home cinema, and smart home technologies\\n\\n * Proficient in terminating Cat5/6 cables and AV system integration\\n\\n * Skilled in AV rack building, cabling, and system labelling\\n\\n * Confident in fault-finding and resolving technical issues independently\\n\\n * Good understanding of construction site practices and procedures\\n\\n * Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team\\n\\n * Excellent communication skills, especially in client-facing situations\\n\\n * Full UK driving licence (required)\\n\\n * Valid ECS card (required)\\n\\n * Additional certifications (e.g. IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, First Aid) are desirable\\n\\n * Clean DBS/CRB check or willingness to undergo one\\n\\nDON'T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY – APPLY NOW\\n\\nGet Staff acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers\\n\\nPlease note that if you have not been contacted within 7 days, your application for this position has been unsuccessful
