About the Role
This is a performance-focused employer relationship role within Get Set Skills (TLB). You will manage a portfolio of employers, convert opportunities into apprenticeship starts, and support learners through onboarding and progression. You will work to clear monthly targets, manage a structured pipeline, and collaborate closely with delivery, compliance and learner support teams to ensure quality and retention.
What This Role Is Really About
This role is about delivery, accountability and relationships. You will spend your time engaging employers, progressing live opportunities, and ensuring apprentices are set up properly and compliantly. It is not a purely desk-based role and it is not flexible or casual in structure. Success comes from consistency, organisation and follow-through.

- Travel across nationwide sites
- Combination of office working and regular employer visits

- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Travel across London expected as part of the role
What You Will Do
- Deliver agreed monthly and annual apprenticeship start targets
- Manage a live employer pipeline from first engagement to apprentice onboarding
- Build long-term, repeat relationships with employers
- Act as the main point of contact for employers during recruitment and onboarding
- Work closely with internal delivery, compliance and learner support teams
- Maintain accurate and timely records on CRM and learner systems, including PICS
- Ensure all activity meets ESFA funding rules and quality standards
- Promote safeguarding, Prevent, health and safety and EDI in all interactions

- Proactively engage new and existing employers
- Represent Get Set UK professionally with external partners
- Contribute to local employer and stakeholder networks

What You Will Bring
- Experience working in the Apprenticeships sector
- Experience managing employer accounts or business development in skills, training or employability
- A track record of working to targets linked to starts, outcomes or revenue
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence using CRM systems (PICS experience is desirable)
- Solid MS Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel
A Day in the Role
You might start the day reviewing your pipeline and confirming employer meetings. You could then visit an employer to finalise apprenticeship roles and timelines. Later, you may work with internal teams to resolve onboarding issues or compliance checks. You will update CRM records, follow up actions and ensure nothing slips. Every day is structured, target-driven and employer-facing.
