  • Leading Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) and position statements for adult provision
  • Managing IQA and EQA processes, ensuring awarding body compliance
  • Acting as centre coordinator for awarding organisations
  • Leading preparation for and participation in external audits and inspections, including Ofsted, ESFA, GLA, and DfE
  • Monitoring and improving the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment, including observations and feedback
  • Supporting and challenging subcontractors through quality monitoring and performance review
  • Using data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting curriculum development to ensure alignment with local, regional, and national skills priorities
  • Ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules, awarding body requirements, and safeguarding standards
  • Supporting staff development through coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Driving digital solutions to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact
  • Monitoring and improving Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) standards across provision

Who we seek

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification
  • Teaching qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Assessing and IQA qualifications
  • DET / Level 5 EAT or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the skills sector
  • At least 3 years' experience leading quality methodologies and improvements

Desirable:

  • Direct experience supporting or leading Ofsted inspections
  • Experience managing high-performing quality or delivery teams
