Get Set UK is an employment services provider that supports people to make positive changes in their lives. We’re looking for a Cluster Manager to lead our Careers, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG) services within a prison-based environment. If you’re an experienced leader with a passion for empowering individuals and ensuring high-quality career guidance, this could be the role for you.
This role requires rigorous vetting, including an enhanced DBS check and prison security clearance. Candidates must also have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the role involves travel across multiple prisons within the cluster area.
Your impact
As Cluster Manager, you will lead and develop a team of CIAG Advisors across multiple prisons to ensure they deliver exceptional careers guidance and employability support. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, maintaining high-quality service delivery, and meeting key performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and inspire your team, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to excel.
- Careers Information, Advice & Guidance: Approximately 30% of your time will be delivering frontline CIAG services alongside your team of Advisors.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the delivery of CIAG services, ensuring performance meets contractual and organisational targets.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular service evaluations, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, prison security, and quality standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Track outcomes and use data insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with prison staff, training providers, and employers to enhance service effectiveness.
- Compliance and Safeguarding: Ensure full adherence to safeguarding policies and prison security regulations.
- Driving Participant Success: Support individuals in custody by ensuring that career guidance aligns with their skills and aspirations, contributing to reduced reoffending rates and successful reintegration.
Who we seek
We’re looking for a strong leader with experience in offender rehabilitation, careers guidance, or employment services. You should be someone who thrives in a challenging environment, is highly organised, and can drive high-quality service delivery.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage and develop teams in a target-driven environment.
- Careers Guidance Expertise: Level 4 IAG qualification or above (or willingness to work towards it).
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding, data protection, and prison regulations.
- Performance Management: Experience in monitoring outcomes and driving improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- IT Proficiency: Competent in using digital tools for reporting and performance tracking.
- Driving Licence & Vehicle: Must be able to travel between multiple prisons.
