Location: Hybrid (South East) | Contract: FT 35hrs PW M-F | Salary: £24,000

This role is an HR Graduate role with purpose — you’ll be right at the heart of the people function, supporting recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and HR operations to bring great people into the business and ensure a positive experience once they’re here.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support
    • Post and promote vacancies for front-line roles (e.g., Employment Advisors, Tutors, Employer Relationship Managers).
    • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and proactive outreach.
    • Screen CVs, conduct professional telephone interviews, and coordinate the interview process with hiring managers.
    • Draft and update job descriptions, offers, and onboarding materials.
  • Pre-Employment & Onboarding
    • Prepare and issue employment contracts, offer letters, and pre-employment documentation (Right to Work, DBS, references).
    • Upload and maintain compliance records on HR systems.
    • Support onboarding by setting up new hires on systems, assigning training, and arranging ID badges and welcome materials.
  • HR Operations & Support
    • Manage employee queries and draft standard HR correspondence (probation outcomes, changes to terms, meeting invites).
    • Provide accurate note-taking for formal HR meetings and support ad hoc HR projects.
    • Maintain HR records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Employee Engagement & Offboarding
    • Update employee data across engagement and benefits platforms.
    • Support monthly HR administration tasks such as probation tracking and benefits reporting.
    • Assist with offboarding processes, ensuring documentation and system updates are completed smoothly.

The Person

  • Do you have a degree in HR or a related field?
  • Have you completed at least one year\'s placement or practical experience in HR and/or recruitment?
