About the Role

This role supports people who face barriers to employment to find and keep work. You will work face-to-face in the community, building trust, confidence and practical routes into jobs. You will be part of the Connect to Work programme across Hertfordshire. The work is purposeful, structured and impact-driven.

Environment

This is a field‑based, mobile role. You will travel daily across Hertfordshire to meet participants, employers and partners. Meetings take place in community venues, health settings and workplaces. This is not a home‑based or office‑based role. You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. You will be required to cover business mileage. Mileage is expensed at HMRC rates.

  • Manage a caseload of participants seeking employment
  • Meet people regularly to understand skills, strengths and goals

  • Support job search, CVs and interview preparation
  • Provide in‑work support to sustain employment
