We are currently looking for an Employability Tutor/Educator with a teaching qualification to inspire and guide learners on their journey to career success. As an Employability Tutor, you will provide consistent support to individuals, enabling them to feel more confident as they navigate their employment journey. You will collaborate closely with employers to prepare candidates for relevant vacancies, equipping them with qualifications, skills, and all-around support. Your role will be pivotal in transforming lives and shaping futures. Your impact: Course Design and Delivery: Design and deliver accredited Employability and Customer Service courses aligned with our vision for career development, maintaining a minimum 90% engagement rate with learners. Commercial Awareness: Stay commercially aware, understand contractual requirements, and adapt your teaching approach to meet them effectively. Values Promotion: Create awareness among participants about our company\\\\\\\’s vision of equal opportunities and values. Feedback and Support: Provide participants with constructive feedback to enhance their readiness for the dynamic work environment and support them in sustaining employment through good practice. Core responsibilities: Individual Support: Identify and support individual learning needs, fostering people development. Additional Learning Needs: Work with customers with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive the support necessary to succeed. Engagement: Maintain high engagement rates by delivering interactive and impactful training sessions. Participant Readiness: Ensure participants are well-prepared for employment opportunities, providing them with the necessary skills and confidence. Collaboration: Work closely with employers to understand their needs and tailor training programs accordingly. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with best practices in employability training and continuously improve course content and delivery methods. Who we seek: Qualified Tutor: Must have a recognised tutor qualification. Course Delivery Expert: Proven expertise in delivering accredited Employability and Customer Service courses, with a track record of contributing to career development. Individual Learning Needs: Ability to ambitiously identify and support individual learning needs. Experience with Additional Needs (Advantage): Experience in working with students with additional learning needs, fostering people development. Remote Teaching: Experience in remote delivery and teaching in virtual learning environments. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to provide constructive feedback. Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively. Empathetic: Demonstrates empathy and understanding towards learners, providing them with the support they need to succeed. Commercially Aware: Understands contractual requirements and can adapt teaching approaches to meet them.
