At Get Set UK, we believe every young person deserves a future they can be proud of. As an Adult Skills Manager, you will play a key role in managing various adult skills funding contracts. You will support Learning Development Mentors (LDMs) and trainers by providing leadership, tools, and guidance to ensure successful course outcomes. This role involves managing the learner journey from recruitment to employment or further education, ensuring delivery meets quality standards as measured by the EIF.
Your impact:
As an Adult Skills Manager, you will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of adult learning programmes that support learners into employment or further education. You will drive quality, manage delivery teams, ensure funding compliance, and foster continuous improvement and learner success.
Leadership & Programme Oversight
- Provide strategic and daily management of LDMs, trainers, and support staff.
- Set objectives, deliver coaching, and manage performance.
- Lead programme planning in line with Ofsted EIF standards and learner needs.
- Oversee learner enrolment processes with stakeholders, including DWP, employers, and third-sector organisations.
Quality & Compliance
- Work with the Head of Quality & Compliance to meet funding and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate EQA visits and ensure readiness.
- Embed compliance practices into daily delivery, including safeguarding and data protection.
- Support reports for Self-Assessment and quality reviews.
- Lead curriculum design, resource creation, and assessment planning.
- Champion digital, remote, and hybrid learning models.
- Identify and resolve barriers to learner progression with innovative solutions.
Engagement & Collaboration
- Drive learner engagement through feedback and tracking destinations.
- Collaborate with marketing and outreach to promote programmes.
- Engage with employers and partners for progression routes.

We\’re looking for:
- Teaching Qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education & Training)
- IQA Qualification and experience in internal quality assurance
- Experience working with employers, DWP, and funding bodies
- Leadership experience (formal or informal)
- Curriculum development skills
- Understanding of Ofsted EIF framework
- Workshop facilitation skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding, data protection, ASF, Skills Bootcamps
- Proficiency with CRM, digital tools, MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
