The Opportunity
Get Recruited are working with a highly reputable and award-winning Legal practice who are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have worked within a legal practice within an accounts team.
The Role
- Processing accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Ensuring all transactions are compliant with SRA and regulations.
- Manage and maintain client account records.
- Handle petty cash and conduct reconciliation.
- Assist with VAT returns and compliance.
- Process incoming and outgoing payments, including BACs.
- Reconcile bank statements daily and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Post expenses and financial transactions.
- Support month end and year end closing processes, including reports.
The Person
- Must have at least 3 years' experience working as a legal cashier or a similar finance role within a law firm.
- Strong working knowledge of legal accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
