Overview
In this role you will support corporate finance transactions from engagement through to completion, with a focus on sell-side deals and private equity-backed work. You will work alongside Partners and Senior Managers, gaining exposure to valuations and strategic advisory projects. You will perform research, build financial models, and prepare marketing materials, while coordinating due diligence and contributing to client proposals. Responsibilities
- Support corporate finance processes from engagement to completion
- Work on predominantly sell-side mandates and PE-backed transactions
- Assist senior team members with project delivery and transaction management
- Build relationships with clients, investors and advisers
- Undertake company, transaction, market and sector research
- Analyse financial information and identify key commercial trends
- Prepare financial models, valuations and supporting materials
- Draft information memoranda and marketing documents
- Contribute to client proposals, presentations and pitches
- Coordinate information requests and support due diligence
- Collaborate with the wider Corporate Finance and practice teams
- Contribute to the growth and development of the team
Key requirements
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Experience in Corporate Finance, transaction services, audit, accounts or related advisory environment
- Previous Corporate Finance experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong financial analysis, modelling and Excel skills
- Commercially aware with an interest in transactions and deal-making
- Able to interpret financial information and communicate findings clearly
- Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
- Strong written skills and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
