This is a senior role for an experienced ProFin professional who's ready to manage their own book, develop new business, and play a leading role within a specialist team.
You'll work across PI, D&O and Cyber for a broad range of clients including financial institutions, broking directly into Lloyd's and composite insurers where needed - with the technical depth and market access to deliver for even the most complex risks.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and growing an existing book of ProFin clients across PI, D&O and Cyber
- Broking risks directly into Lloyd's, composite insurers and MGAs
- Prospecting and securing new clients to agreed targets
- Attending client meetings and building confidence through strong product knowledge
- Working with underwriters to adapt and tailor policy wordings
- Preparing MRC slips and managing all stages of the insurance process
- Supporting the claims team on ProFin matters as required
- Providing technical mentoring and support to colleagues within the ProFin team
- Ensuring FCA compliance and adherence to internal procedures throughout
What they're looking for:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a PI team - across both large and small clients
- Proven track record in new business development and client retention
- Highly competent in the use of PPL
- Experience preparing MRC slips
- Strong working knowledge of Lloyd's and the broader London market
- Proficient in Microsoft 365
- An effective communicator at all levels - written and verbal
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to targets and budgets
